  3. Hi Bob,
Thank you for inquiring about our Corporate Packages. Yes we offer many different types of Corporate Retreats. With as few as 10 people we will customize a retreat based on your companies individual needs. I'll call Aaron this week.
    Best Regards,

  4. Bikes, Boats, and Boots, is a company that offers adventure travel. They offer a couple of trips a year, one in Colorado and one in Washington State, but they will customize a trip if you have 8 people almost anywhere in the U.S. Each trip is 7-8 days and includes cycling, rafting/kayaking, and hiking. Scandinavian Diets has used them for some coporate retreats, however these trips are for people who have trained for this trip and are conditioned. Hope that answers your question, please give them a call I know they'd love to talk to you!
    Thank you,
    Diana

  6. I love the idea of adventure travel opportunities! How much training do you have to have to participate in a 3B's excursion? I look forward to coming back and reading more soon! :)

  8. Thanx so much for your inquires. Scandinaviand Diets has 4 trips planned this year, and Bikes, Boats, & Boots has 2 trips open to the general public.
    Laura to answer your question;
Yes, yes, yes, you need to be in good physical condition to participate in the adventure travel trips. You need to be able to cycle a minimum of 50-60 miles per day and that will include Colorado mountain passes. These trips are not for people who are not very active. We will provide complete training programs to work with. We have started with people who hadn't been on bike in 20 years, gave them a written training program which they followed and they enjoyed every minute of their trip
The first week in June is the Colorado Trip, it will cover 250 miles of gorgeous cycling scenery and several mountain passes. The trip will also include a day hike, and an exhilerating rafting trip. Last year we rafted in water that was higher then it had been in 25 years, it was a blast. Of course we include the best experienced guides.
The second trip is in Sept. It will also cover approx. 250 miles of cycling, ferrying to Orcus Island, Victoria, Canada, and the Olympic National Park. We will also be hiking and kayaking. There is also a half day excursion to the beautiful Butchart Gardens in Victoria.
If you have a group of 10 people we will create a trip based on your desires and budget.
If by any chance this seems to strenuous, you may also want to consider one of the Scandinavian Diets Health and Weight Loss Retreats.

Let me know if I can help!
    Thanx,
    Diana

  9. Do you use one travel agent? Will we get a group discount rate? This would be helpful for budgeting purposes.

  10. Hi,
Thanx for the inquiry. We do use travel agents, but you can book directly through us. We do offer a 10% discount if you work with us directly, which is the same that we have to pay to travel agents.
    Thanx again!

  11. Do you think that someone who can run a marathon race would be able to do this if they weren’t in good health and fitness? Chances are they wouldn’t because they would tire out to quickly.
